Ano ang tunay na Pangalan ng DIYOS?

YHWH (יהוה)
Ang Pangalan ng Diyos ay kilala ng marami lalo na sa mga nag-aaral ng Banal na Kasulatan bilang יהוה(Yod Hey Vav Hey) o YHWH o tinatawag nating "Tetragrammaton."

Marami sa mga tao, lalo na sa panahon natin ngayon ang tumatawag nito bilang Yahweh at sa iba naman ay Jehovah lalo na sa mga Saksi ni Jehova. Meron ding grupo na binibigkas nilang "YAHUAH" ang tetragrammaton na nakasulat sa Paleo Hebrew. Ang Paleo Hebrew ay hindi pointed text, kaya hindi ito puweding bigkasin dahil ang vowel points ay hindi nai-provide hanggang ca. AD 600.
Kapag nagbasa ang mga hudyo ng Torah scrolls sa sinagoga ay binabasa nila ang YHWH bilang "Adonai" (Lord). Tinatakda kasi ng Jewish law na basahin ang "Qere" (what is read) at hindi ang "Ketiv" (what is written).
Sa mga Hebrew bible ngayon na may mga transliteration ay makikita natin na ang "Adonai" ang nakalagay sa tuwing babasahin ang Tetragrammaton. Para din sa mga hudyo ay tinatawag din nila itong Hashem na ang ibig sabihin ay “the name.”
Natatakot ang mga hudyo na malabag nila ang Ikalawang utos ng Panginoong Diyos at dahil diyan ay hindi nila binibigkas ang Tetragrammaton.

Maging ang Ingles na "God" ay ginagawa nilang G-d dahil daw sa maingat silang gamitin ang pangalan ng Diyos.
Sa ibang mga manuscripts ng Old Testament katulad ng makikita natin sa Isaiah 40:7 ng the Dead Sea Scrolls ay mapapansin natin na ang scribe ay nagsulat ng apat na dots sa halip na Tetragrammaton para magbigay babala sa pagbigkas sa banal na pangalan ng Panginoong Diyos.
Sa Isaiah 3:17 naman ng the Dead Sea Scrolls ay mapapansin natin na ang YHWH ay nilagyan ng Adonai (Lord) sa itaas nito at ang ibig sabihin ng SCRIBAL DOTS ay alisin ito at palitan ito ng ADONAI.

May mga pagkakataong makikita natin na ang YHWH ay may mga vowels katulad na lamang ng mapapansin natin sa Leningrad Codex na ang Yod ay may SHEWA sa ilalim nito at sa ilalim ng Vav ay may Qamets. Dahil dito ay iniiisip ng ilan lalo na ng mga Saksi ni Jehova na ito ay "Yehowah," kaya pinagpipilitan nila na ito raw ay patunay na Jehovah talaga ang pangalan ng Diyos. Pero sa mga nakapag-aral ng Biblical Hebrew at kayang bumasa ng Hebrew ay hindi pa rin ito "Yehowah" dahil walang Holem o "O" sound na makikita sa nasabing tetragrammaton na nakita sa Leningrad Codex. Pero higit sa lahat, ang paglalagay ng mga Masoretes o Jewish scribe-scholars ng vowels sa ilalim ng Tetragrammaton ay hindi nila layunin para bigkasin ang Tetragrammaton dahil alam nilang may mahigpit na tradisyon ang mga hudyo hinggil sa Pangalan ng Diyos.
